Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the German Pz.Kpfw.IV L/70(A) vehicle in 1:35 scale from Dragon. The model is supplied as a set of parts to be assembled and painted and captures the improvised solution that combined a long-barreled gun with the hull of the Panzer IV.
The Pz.Kpfw.IV L/70(A) was a German tank destroyer from the end of the Second World War that mounted the long 75 mm L/70 gun on the chassis and hull of the Panzer IV tank. It came about as an emergency solution by the Alkett company at a time when standard tank destroyers were in short supply. The tall superstructure gave the vehicle an unmistakable silhouette, different from the production Panzer IV/70(V) tank destroyer.
Prepare the running gear and the tracks before closing the hull up. Use thin cement on the plastic, spray the surface with a primer and apply late camouflage schemes with an airbrush. Create weathering and dust with washes and pigments, which will come out on the tall superstructure.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
