This kit from Hobby Boss brings to 1:35 scale the heavy wheeled BAZ-64022 chassis vehicle carrying the 5P85TE2 launcher of the S-400 air defense complex. It is an injection-molded plastic model to assemble and paint, supplemented with a photo-etched fret, a decal sheet and a masking template.
The S-400 is a Russian mobile surface-to-air missile system brought into service after 2007 as a development of the S-300 family. The 5P85TE2 launcher with its transporter-launcher containers is carried on the heavy multi-axle wheeled BAZ-64022 chassis, which gives the whole unit great mobility.
Finish the suspension and the chassis first, and only then the superstructure with the containers. Glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply primer before painting, lay the base shade on with an airbrush and bring out the broken-up surface with a wash and dry-brushing. Fix the decals on a gloss coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
