An injection-molded plastic kit of the Russian amphibious command vehicle BRDM-2UM in 1:35 scale. The set offers a multi-part molded lower hull, rubber tires with fine tread, a detailed interior and photo-etched parts. It is a less usual command version from the BRDM-2 family of armored reconnaissance vehicles.
The BRDM-2 is a Soviet amphibious armored reconnaissance vehicle. The BRDM-2UM command conversion served as a liaison and command vehicle; compared with the combat version it carried modified equipment matching its staff role. The vehicle is amphibious and was used by the Soviet and other armies.
Assemble and paint the interior before you close up the hull. Use thin modeling cement on the plastic joints, lay down a base coat (primer) and paint with an airbrush. Protect the tires while painting the hull; refine the weathering with a wash and pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
