This detailed plastic kit from the maker MiniArt in 1:35 scale depicts the German Sd.Kfz.234/3 heavy reconnaissance armored car, nicknamed Stummel, in its late form. The vehicle carried a short 7.5 cm weapon in an open superstructure. Photo-etched parts for fine detail and several marking options are included as well.
The Sd.Kfz.234 series were eight-wheeled armored reconnaissance vehicles with all-wheel drive and long range, deployed in the closing stage of the Second World War. The 234/3 version carried a short-barreled 7.5 cm gun meant for direct fire support of reconnaissance units.
Glue the model with a thin cement for plastic. Finish and paint the chassis and drivetrain and the interior of the open superstructure before the hull is closed. For convincing weathering use washes and pigments (mud and dust effects), and even the surface out with a filler primer and an airbrush.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
