The injection-molded plastic kit in 1:35 scale from the MiniArt brand combines a Soviet three-axle truck with 6x4 drive and a divisional gun of 76 mm caliber of the USV-BR type. Besides the plastic sprues the package contains photo-etched metal, ammunition crates, two figures and a decal sheet with several marking options for the vehicle and the gun alike. It is a richly broken-down set with a high level of detail.
The real subject of the vehicle is a Soviet three-axle truck of the GAZ-AAA family, in which the load capacity and the cross-country ability were raised by adding a second driven axle. The USV gun was a divisional 76 mm gun widely deployed by the Red Army during the Second World War against infantry as well as against armored targets.
Because of the quantity of small parts and photo-etch the build is more demanding and suits more experienced modelers. Finish and paint the chassis, the engine and the interior of the body before closing them. Bend the photo-etched parts over an edge and glue them with super glue. You will create the patina with a wash and with dust and mud pigments at the end.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
