An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet light tank T-60 of the early production series in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. The edition is done as an interior kit, that is, with a well-worked interior of both the fighting and the engine compartment. Photo-etched parts and clear elements are usually included; the exact contents of the box are given in the instructions.
The T-60 was a Soviet light tank of the beginning of the Second World War. It came about as a cheap and easily produced vehicle to supplement the heavier types and was committed from 1941. It was armed with a 20 mm autocannon and a machine gun and powered by an automotive engine. It served for reconnaissance and direct infantry support.
It is a detailed kit for more experienced modelers. We suggest assembling and painting the interior before you close the hull. Use liquid cement for plastic, and glue the small photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Apply a base coat of primer before painting; for weathering, washes and pigments for mud and dust effects suit well.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
