An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet multi-turret T-28 medium tank in the version with a riveted hull, from Hobby Boss. The model captures the typical three-turret layout with a main turret and two smaller machine gun turrets. The kit is made of ordinary injection-molded plastic with a large number of parts and usually comes with photo-etched parts and copper wire; for the exact contents of the box, follow the instructions.
The T-28 was one of the first series-produced medium tanks in the world. It was created at the beginning of the 1930s as a breakthrough infantry tank intended to break through fortified lines. It carried a short 76 mm gun in the main turret and machine guns in the auxiliary turrets. The riveted form corresponds to the earlier batches, on which the hull was joined with rivets instead of the later welding.
Assemble and complete the running gear before you close up the hull, and pay attention to how all three turrets seat. Glue the plastic with thin cement, treat the surface with primer and lay the colors on with an airbrush. The riveted surface will stand out after drybrushing and fine washes in the hollows.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
