A plastic kit of the German StuG III assault gun in the Ausf.G version, specifically the April 1943 production from the Alkett works, in 1:35 scale from MiniArt. This is the interior version of the kit, with a fully worked-out fighting compartment, photo-etched and clear parts and individual track links.
The Sturmgeschütz III was a German tracked self-propelled gun built on the chassis of the Panzer III tank. The Ausf.G version was the most widely built one and was used both as an anti-tank and as a support weapon. Production batches distinguished by date differ in details of the superstructure and the equipment, and MiniArt reflects this in the individual boxings.
Build the full interior first, paint it and give it washes, and only then close up the hull; otherwise the excellent detail would stay hidden. Assemble the individual track links separately. Finish the running gear before painting; for the weathering, use pigments to get a dusty look.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
