Responsibility details are not available.
An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet postwar SU-122-54 tank destroyer in its early version (Early Type) in 1:35 scale from Miniart. It is a richly broken-down model with a detailed interior, engine and armament, with photo-etched parts and individual track links. According to the manufacturer it also offers decals for several marking options. The model therefore makes it possible to show the internal layout of this uncommon vehicle.
The SU-122-54 was a Soviet heavy tank destroyer of the 1950s built on the chassis and components of the T-54 medium tank. It carried a powerful 122 mm gun and was meant to destroy enemy tanks and fortifications at long range. Only a relatively small number were built, so it is a fairly rare subject that you will not meet in collections as often as the ordinary T-54 and T-55 tanks.
Finish and paint the interior and the engine compartment before you close the hull; decide in advance which hatches you will leave open. Use thin cement for plastic, and glue the photo-etched parts and the individual track links with cyanoacrylate glue. Apply primer before painting and spray with an airbrush. Bring the Soviet green to life with a filter and a wash, and finish the running gear and the underside with dust and mud pigments.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
