An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet T-54-3 medium tank, the Mod. 1951 standard, in 1:35 scale. It is an extensive kit with a fully detailed interior: the fighting and driver's compartments, the turret and the engine. The package holds plastic and photo-etched parts, clear parts, decals and instructions; the maker is Miniart.
The T-54 was a Soviet medium tank of the postwar generation which became one of the most widely used tanks in the world. The T-54-3 version (Mod. 1951) brought a reworked turret without the characteristic side overhangs and new sighting equipment. The tank combined strong armor protection, a 100 mm gun and good mobility.
Given the full interior, paint and assemble the inside of the turret and the hull before you close them. Use thin cement for plastic on the joints and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. A primer, an airbrush and a patina are the way to go: washes and pigments for dust and mud effects on the running gear. Open hatches let the interior be put on show.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
