This injection-molded plastic kit from MiniArt represents the T-55A medium tank in the variant built under license in Poland. As is typical for MiniArt, the set is richly broken down into parts and offers fine detail as well as several decal marking options.
The T-55A was a developed version of the widespread Soviet T-55 medium tank with anti-radiation protection for the crew. The vehicle was produced in enormous numbers and was also built under license outside the Soviet Union, among others in Poland. Thanks to its long service with many armies around the world, the T-55 ranks among the best-known postwar tanks.
First assemble the running gear and the lower parts of the hull and paint them before you close it up. Give the tracks and the road wheels extra attention, and build up the weathering with washes and pigments for mud and dust effects. An airbrush will give an even base coat and filters will unify the shade.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
