A turned metal detail accessory, not a model. The set contains a precisely turned metal barrel of the American 75 mm M3 tank gun for tanks of the Sherman M4 series in 1:35 scale. The metal barrel replaces the plastic one from the model: it has a perfectly circular section with no parting seam, the correct taper and a clean muzzle. According to the manufacturer's catalog it is made for the M34 and M34A1 mounts. Made by Aber, the Polish specialist in metal accessories.
The Sherman M4 was the main American medium tank of the Second World War, deployed by the Allies in enormous numbers. The widespread versions carried the 75 mm M3 gun mounted in the M34 or M34A1 mantlet. The barrel is the first thing you notice on a model of the tank.
For modelers who build the Sherman M4 with the 75 mm M3 gun in 1:35 scale and want a perfectly straight barrel with no seams. Even a less experienced modeler will manage the fitting; all that is needed is super glue.
