The subject is an American tracked tractor fitted with a blade and protective armor, used by engineer units during the Second World War. The armor protected the crew during earthmoving and construction work in the combat zone, such as clearing obstacles, building roads and reinforcing positions under fire.
We recommend assembling and painting the engine bay and cab before closing up the hull. Given the number of small and photo-etched parts, patience and cyanoacrylate for the tiny components pay off. Use a primer and airbrush for the base coat, and washes and pigments for mud and dust weathering.
