The set from the Czech maker Firma49 brings finely 3D-printed resin American fire extinguishers of the types carried on Allied vehicles and equipment in the Second World War. It is not a vehicle kit but a detail accessory for models and dioramas. The set contains versions with and without a bracket, so they can be placed on the bed of a vehicle or in a scene.

Tips for working and painting

The manufacturer recommends dipping the parts in hot water before separating the supports; the resin softens slightly and will not chip, and it regains its hardness once cooled. The parts are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate) and painted with ordinary modeling paints; a primer is advisable before painting. Wear respiratory protection while sanding.
