An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet 76mm divisional gun from MiniArt in 1:35 scale. The set presents the gun completed by a towing limber and by figures of the gun crew, so that a complete diorama scene of the weapon in action can be built from it. Accessories such as ammunition boxes are usually included as well. The exact number of parts and photo-etched pieces is given in the instructions included in the package.
This Soviet 76.2mm divisional gun of the late 1930s was a universal weapon able to fire at infantry, fortifications and armored vehicles alike. It was produced in large numbers and was used from the first battles of the Second World War; later a lighter and simpler type replaced it as the standard divisional gun. The combination of gun, limber and crew makes it possible to capture a whole artillery team.
The parts are injection-molded in plastic; bond any photo-etched components with super glue. Complete and paint the running gear, the carriage and the shield before you close the assembly up. Soviet green with gradual lightening of the surfaces suits the gun, with dust pigments on the lower parts and a dark wash in the details. Build and paint the crew figures separately.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
