Injection-molded plastic kit of the French battleship Dunkerque in 1:350 scale from Hobby Boss. The model comes as a set of parts to assemble and paint and offers a slide-mold hull, a finely rendered deck planking pattern, photo-etched parts, decals, a stand with a nameplate and a Loire 130 aircraft.
Dunkerque was the lead ship of the French battleship class that bears her name, built in the 1930s. With her sister ship Strasbourg she introduced the arrangement of the main armament in two quadruple turrets in the forward part of the hull, made up of eight 330 mm guns. A fast and modern ship, she was meant to face the fast opponents of her day.
Choose between the full hull and the waterline version according to how you will display it. Glue the photo-etched railings with cyanoacrylate glue. Spray a base coat over the deck and the hull, tone the wooden areas and touch in the small fittings with a brush; unify the edges of the decals with a clear coat.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
