Injection-molded plastic kit of the British pre-dreadnought battleship HMS Agamemnon of the Lord Nelson class in 1:350 scale from Hobby Boss. The model offers a one-piece hull, a deck with engraved planking and rich deck fittings. The box contains photo-etched parts for the superstructures, the railings and the ladders, a name plate and a display stand.
HMS Agamemnon was a British pre-dreadnought battleship of the Lord Nelson class, launched in 1906 and completed in 1908. She was one of the last British pre-dreadnoughts, that is of the type that the revolutionary dreadnought battleships made obsolete shortly afterwards. During World War I, Agamemnon served among other places in the Mediterranean and in the Dardanelles campaign.
Use a thin plastic cement and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate. Finish and paint the superstructures, the guns and the cranes before the final assembly; add the railings and the fine antennas at the end. Apply a primer and spray the paints with an airbrush. On a ship from the beginning of the 20th century, the contrast between a dark hull and light superstructures stands out, as does restrained weathering. The model can be displayed on the enclosed stand with its name plate.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
