Turned metal armament barrels for the Russian battleship Sevastopol in 1:350 scale from MASTER – twelve barrels of 305 mm caliber and sixteen barrels of 120 mm caliber. An accurate replacement for the plastic barrels of a base kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of turned metal barrels for a model of the Russian battleship Sevastopol in 1:350 scale from the manufacturer MASTER. It contains 12 barrels of the main 305 mm caliber and 16 barrels of the secondary 120 mm caliber. Turned metal has a perfectly straight bore and a sharp muzzle, which injection-molded plastic cannot render faithfully.
Sevastopol was a Russian battleship (a dreadnought) of the Gangut class from the First World War period. The main armament consisted of twelve guns of 305 mm caliber in four triple turrets, supplemented by a secondary battery of guns of 120 mm caliber. The ships of this class served in the Imperial Russian Navy and in the Soviet Navy, still in the Second World War.
Separate the barrels carefully from the gate, shorten the seating pin as needed and glue them into the plastic turrets with cyanoacrylate. Before painting, treat the metal with primer. Metal barrels make it possible to line up the elevation of all the guns faithfully in one direction.
The set serves as a turned replacement for parts of a base kit; on its own it is not a ship model. Glue, paints and the base kit are not included in the package.
