An injection-molded plastic kit set in 1:350 scale from the manufacturer AFV Club (Taiwan). This is not one vehicle model but a collection of small American vehicles and equipment of the Second World War, which serve to fill the decks of landing ships and to bring dioramas to life. According to the manufacturer it includes several types of equipment — among them amphibious carriers, trucks, the amphibious DUKW, a Sherman tank, a jeep and a gun. The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The vehicles are based on the equipment of American units in the amphibious landings in the Pacific and in Europe during the Second World War. The scale models in 1:350 match the standard of ship models, so the equipment can be placed on the decks of landing vessels or into harbor and beach scenes.
Separate the small parts carefully from the sprue gates and clean them up under a magnifier. Given the size, painting with an airbrush and accentuating the details with a fine wash and a dry brush prove their worth. The set serves excellently to populate the deck of a landing ship or a beach diorama.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
