Bronco 1:350 USMC M1114 Up-Armoured Tactical Vehicle is a plastic set of several miniature armored off-road vehicles as a deck and diorama accessory for models in 1:350 scale.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is NOT one large vehicle model but a plastic set containing several identical miniature armored off-road vehicles in the small 1:350 scale. The set is meant to fill the decks of landing ships and to serve naval dioramas in the same scale. The package contains plastic parts. The parts are very small and the set suits more experienced modelers.
The M1114 is the up-armored version of the well-known American HMMWV off-road vehicle. The added armor improved the protection of the crew against bullets and fragments, so the vehicle served in convoys and in the front line alike. In US Marine Corps service it was carried among other ways on landing ships, to whose models this set is a logical accessory.
Work with a magnifier and fine tweezers, and separate the small parts with a sharp knife. The vehicles are easiest to paint with an airbrush, with the deep shadows gently picked out by a wash. For a deck scene choose a uniform orientation, or arrange them in a convoy.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and the ship model are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
