A photo-etched brass set from Flyhawk holding ammunition boxes and lockers for models of American warships in 1:350 scale. It fills the decks out with small features that lift the fidelity of the area around the weapons markedly. It is NOT a kit of a ship but a deck accessory.
Ammunition boxes and lockers were part of the equipment around the naval guns and anti-aircraft positions of the US Navy. The photo-etched rendering lets thin-walled boxes be built up with a true wall thickness that cannot be reached in plastic at this scale. The deck thus gains the density of detail it needs.
An accessory for modelers with experience of small parts. The model, glue and paints are not included in the package.
