The package holds two separate plastic kits of the Chinese WZ-10 attack helicopter in 1:350 scale. These are very small models, which are built from a very few parts and suit above all as an accessory to ship models, for dioramas and for display case scenes in this scale. The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted.
The WZ-10 is a Chinese attack helicopter with a narrow fuselage and tandem seating, that is with the pilot and the weapons operator one above the other. The design follows the classic layout of attack helicopters: a slender profile head on, pylons under short stub wings for the carried armament and a rotating turret in the front part. For a modeler that means a striking silhouette, which is legible even in such a small scale.
Snip the parts off the frame with fine cutters and level the remains of the gate with a scalpel, because in this scale even a small burr shows. The rotor blades are thin and bend easily, so separate them only just before gluing. Apply the paint with an airbrush in a very thin coat, or the variety of the shapes will be lost. Details such as the glazing of the cockpit or the warning lights are dealt with by a dot of paint applied with the point of a toothpick. A very fine wash and a dry brush prove themselves for picking the shapes out.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
