Photo-Etched Ship Stairs (1:400, Aber)

This set is a photo-etched accessory with inclined ship stairs in 1:400 scale. It is not a ship model but a metal detail set. Photo-etching captures the fine treads and the stringers of a stairway, which at such a tiny scale can hardly be molded in plastic at all. The stairs connect the individual decks and superstructures and markedly raise the realism of the model.

Use

• Adds stairways between the decks and superstructures of a ship model
• The parts are cut from the photo-etched fret and bent along the pre-formed lines
• They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate), or soldered with tin
• We recommend degreasing and spraying a primer before painting
