It is not an airplane model but a set of replacement wheels that take the place of the plastic parts from the base kit and raise the realism of the landing gear. Resin wheels are usually cast with a faithful tire tread pattern and fine hub detail. The set is intended for modelers who want to lift the detail of the A-20 Boston they have on the bench.
The Douglas A-20 Havoc, known in British service as the Boston, was an American twin-engine light bomber and attack aircraft of the Second World War. Accurately shaped wheels that sit realistically on the ground are among the details that catch the eye most on a finished model. This set therefore takes care of one of the most visible parts of the model.
First wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, carefully cut off the casting blocks and sand them down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting, paint the tires and the hubs separately and pick the surface out with a light wash and pigments for a dusty effect.
This is an accessory, not a standalone model. The base aircraft kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
