This set is not a vehicle model but a diorama accessory, a piece of furniture. The rocking chair is produced by high-resolution SLA 3D printing from resin in 1:48 scale. In the smaller scale it will serve as a delicate furniture element in a living or outdoor scene.
A rocking chair suits living interiors, porches and doorsteps as well as an outdoor seating area. In a scene it creates a point of calm which, together with a figure, gives the scene action. In 1:48 scale it stays in proportion to the main model.
Wash the print resin residue off the parts, remove the print supports and sand them gently with respiratory protection; the thin bent elements are fragile. It is glued with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). You can create the look of wood with brown shades and fine washes. A matte or semi-gloss varnish will even the surface out.
The accessory is supplied unpainted. Paints, glue and figures are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
