L-29 airbrake, closed, early version 1:48 (3DF) is a 3D-printed detail set for a model of the jet trainer.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed detail set in 1:48 scale, not an airplane model. The set replaces the airbrakes on the fuselage of the Aero L-29 Delfin jet trainer, in the configuration for the early version and shown in the closed position. The fine 3D print brings sharper detail than the production parts. The manufacturer is 3DF.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was a Czechoslovak jet trainer that became the standard basic trainer of the air forces of the Warsaw Pact countries. The airbrakes on the sides of the fuselage controlled speed during the approach and in maneuvering. The early and the late versions differed in some details.
Wash the 3D-printed parts, carefully remove the print supports and sand them down. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting; clean up the brakes in the closed position so that they sit flush with the fuselage.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
