Aerodynamic Brake, L-29, Open, Early Version, 1:48 (3DF) is a 3D-printed detail set for the model of the training jet aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a 3D-printed detail set in 1:48 scale, not an aircraft model. The set depicts the aerodynamic (air) brakes on the fuselage of the training jet aircraft Aero L-29 Delfin, in the early-version configuration and in the extended (open) position, revealing the internal detail of the brake bay. Fine 3D printing delivers sharper detail than the kit's stock parts. It is made by the brand 3DF.
The Aero L-29 Delfin was a Czechoslovak training jet aircraft that became the standard basic trainer of the Warsaw Pact air forces. The aerodynamic brakes on the sides of the fuselage extended to regulate speed; the open position is a rewarding feature on a parked aircraft.
Wash the 3D-printed parts, carefully remove the print supports and sand them smooth. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue. Prime both the inside of the brake bay and the brake surfaces, and bring them out with a wash for a sculpted look on the open detail.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
