About product

Special Mask 1:48 AF-2 Guardian

This set from Special Mask in 1:48 scale contains self-adhesive painting masks for a model of the American Grumman AF-2 Guardian carrier aircraft. It is not a kit or a part of one, but a painting aid. The accurately shaped masks protect the glazed areas and set out sharp lines for the cockpit frames, so the slow cutting of masking tape falls away.

Use

  • The masks are peeled off the sheet and stuck straight onto the clear cockpit part.
  • They cover the glazing and the frames, so that the transition comes out clean and sharp after spraying.
  • They suit an airbrush and a brush alike, and come off easily once the paint has dried.
  • They can also cover further areas that are to stay in the base color.

Who the set is for

For modelers building the AF-2 Guardian in 1:48 scale who want to speed up the masking and reach professionally clean cockpit frames.

The package contains painting masks only. The model, paints and glue are not included.
