This set from the Czech maker Eduard contains detailed AIM-120 AMRAAM air-to-air missiles in the C version in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but add-on armament with which you replace the plastic missiles from the box and raise the fidelity of a model of a modern fighter.
The AIM-120 AMRAAM is an American medium-range guided air-to-air missile with active radar guidance on the fire-and-forget principle. The C version differs from the early ones among other things in its shortened control surfaces, which made it possible to carry it in internal weapons bays. It is widespread armament on contemporary Western fighters.
Glue the parts with super glue and complete them with the photo-etched features. Before painting, treat the surface with a primer and add the decals for realistic markings. On this type the warhead can be built in a training as well as a live form.
