The Airco DH.2 was a single-seat fighter with a pusher propeller behind the pilot, which let it carry a machine gun in the front nacelle without having to synchronize the fire through the propeller. It was used in 1916 and 1917 and played a part in the fight against German superiority in the period known as the Fokker Scourge. It was one of the typical machines of the early era of fighter aviation.
Clean the parts up carefully and dry-fit them as you go. The structure with girder tail booms and bracing wires calls for patience: add the bracing wires only after painting. An airbrush and a fine panel wash work well. Glue the plastic with thin modeling cement. Paints and glue are not included in the package.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
