This set is not an aircraft model but a set of camouflage masks in 1:48 scale from Omask. The precisely cut self-adhesive masks let you spray the intricate camouflage scheme of the German Bf 109G-6 fighter with sharp or soft transitions without laboriously cutting the shapes out. The masks correspond to one particular period scheme and are conceived for the matching kit in this scale.
The Messerschmitt Bf 109G-6 was one of the most widespread versions of the German fighter of the Second World War. Its recognition mark was the bulges over the synchronized machine guns in front of the cockpit. The machines carried various camouflage schemes with bands, patches and transitions on the sides of the fuselage.
Place the masks on a clean, degreased and dried base coat, press the edges down carefully and apply the paint in thin coats. For a soft transition hold the mask slightly above the surface, and for a sharp edge press it down. Remove the masks while the paint is still slightly supple.
This is a masking accessory, not a standalone model. The package contains neither the kit, the paints nor glue, unless stated otherwise.
