A resin set of main wheels from the Czech manufacturer CMK intended for a model of the Bristol Blenheim in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit, but a detail accessory that replaces the plastic wheels of the base kit. The wheels have a circumferential (longitudinal) tire tread pattern and are cast as a single part with simulated load (flattening where the tire meets the ground).
The Bristol Blenheim was a British twin-engine all-metal aircraft of the 1930s, used as a light bomber and in a fighter version as well. Blenheims carried their main landing gear wheels with several types of tire. This set captures the variant with the circumferential tread; the companion CMK set offers smooth tires, so the modeler can choose the version that matches a particular machine.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin wheels, cut off the casting block and bond with super glue. Because they are cast in one piece, there is no need to glue two halves together and sand the seam. The flattened area belongs at the bottom, against the ground. We recommend painting the wheels separately and fitting them at the very end.
This is a detail accessory, not a complete model. The base kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
