An injection-molded plastic kit of the modern Boeing EA-18G Growler carrier electronic warfare aircraft in 1:48 scale from the manufacturer Meng. The model captures the two-seat jet machine derived from the Super Hornet family, with a rich fit of underwing stores. Check the exact contents of the package, the stores and the number of decal schemes against the manufacturer's part number for this item.
The EA-18G Growler is an American carrier electronic warfare aircraft that replaced the older EA-6B Prowler in naval service. It is derived from the two-seat version of the F/A-18F Super Hornet fighter-bomber and keeps its pair of jet engines. Its task is to jam and suppress hostile radars and air defense systems; for that it carries specialized jamming pods and anti-radiation guided missiles.
Glue the parts with thin cement for plastic and sand the fuselage joints carefully. Paint and pick out the cockpit with its two seats before it is closed; glue the clear canopy with canopy cement. Assemble and paint the underwing pods, missiles and tanks separately. Apply a primer before painting and cover with an airbrush. Naval machines carry low-contrast gray schemes: after the gloss varnish and the decals, bring the panel lines out with a fine wash and add service wear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
