An injection-molded plastic kit of the German trainer and liaison aircraft Bücker Bü 181 Bestmann in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker Special Hobby. The boxing covers the German Bü 181B version and the Swedish license-built Sk 25 variant and offers clear parts for the cockpit glazing.
The Bücker Bü 181 Bestmann was a two-seat training and liaison aircraft with side-by-side seats. It first flew shortly before the Second World War and became one of the main basic trainers of the Luftwaffe. In Sweden it was built under license by Hägglund under the designation Sk 25, and the machine served long after the war as well.
Glue the parts with liquid cement for plastic, clean the joints up and apply a filler primer before painting. It pays to mask the cockpit glazing and to spray the airframe with an airbrush; settle the decals on a gloss base so that no silvering edges appear.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
