A set of masking templates 77propeller 1:48 for the Heinkel He 219 A2 (Wnr. 290004) for the camouflage plus masks for the crosses and the numbers.
Responsibility details are not available.
A set of self-adhesive masking templates from the maker 77propeller for a model of the Heinkel He 219 A2 night fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not a model and not decals but an aid for the airbrush: the templates define the masking pattern of the camouflage of one particular machine with the works number 290004, supplemented by masks for spraying the national crosses (Balkenkreuze) and the tactical numbers. The masks are applied section by section onto the model.
With the templates you apply the camouflage pattern and the markings with an airbrush, so that sharp or softly feathered transitions arise without the use of decals. The result looks more faithful than printed markings and the transitions between colors match the period original. Historically this was the He 219 Uhu, one of the first purpose-designed night fighters of the Luftwaffe, with two engines, high-lift devices and tricycle landing gear.
For modelers who want to spray the camouflage and the markings with an airbrush instead of using decals and to achieve the greatest possible fidelity. It calls for experience with masking and with an airbrush.
The set does not hold an aircraft model, paints or glue. It serves as an aid for spraying an existing kit.
