The de Havilland Sea Vixen was a British twin-boom carrier fighter of the Cold War with the crew seated side by side, operated from the aircraft carriers of the Royal Navy. Its rugged landing gear and characteristic wheels are a rewarding detail that a resin replacement sharpens considerably.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, cut the casting block off carefully and sand the mating surface with respiratory protection. Glue the wheels with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the tires in a flat rubber black and the hubs in the shade of the scheme in question; the edge between tire and hub can be separated cleanly with masking.
