The resin set contains a finely cast Martin Baker GA.7 ejection seat for the supersonic Lockheed F-104 Starfighter fighter in 1:48 scale. It is not an airplane kit but an aftermarket accessory that sharpens the single-seat cockpit.
The Lockheed F-104 Starfighter is a slender supersonic fighter with a short straight wing, operated by a number of air forces. Some of the Starfighters were fitted with Martin Baker GA.7 ejection seats; a faithful rendering of one with its straps markedly lifts the look of an open cockpit.
Wash the part free of remnants of the mold release agent, cut the casting block off and sand the marks down with respiratory protection. Glue with cyanoacrylate. Airbrushing and picking the straps out with a wash will strengthen the effect.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The basic model, glue, paints and other parts are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
