A 3D-printed resin set, not a standalone model. It contains a collection of small exterior details for a plastic model of the fighter-bomber F-105D Thunderchief in 1:48 scale – coolers, the ejector nozzle, vent tubes, the arrestor hook, the ventral fin and the air conditioning intakes, for example. These items replace the simplified parts and give the model accuracy. It is made by Reskit.
The Republic F-105 Thunderchief, nicknamed the Thud, was an American supersonic fighter-bomber. The F-105D version carried a large bomb load and made its name on strike missions during the Vietnam War. This single-seat, single-engine aircraft was among the largest fighter-bombers of its day.
Wash the small resin parts free of print resin residue and separate them carefully from the print supports; because they are small, work over a tray so the parts are not lost. They are bonded with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Paint the details according to their function and position, ideally before final assembly.
This is an add-on resin set, not a complete model. The base kit, glue, paints and other accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
