Exhaust nozzles for the F-111 (A, B, C, D, E) and the EF-111 (open and closed), 1:48 — a resin 3D-printed detail set by ResKit for a faithful finish to the rear end of the model. It is made for the Academy kit.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin, 3D-printed detail set from ResKit, not an airplane model. The set replaces the exhaust nozzles of both engines of the F-111 in the A, B, C, D and E versions and of the electronic warfare EF-111, and it offers variants in the open as well as the closed position. The target kit is the Academy one.
The General Dynamics F-111 Aardvark is a twin-engine multirole combat aircraft with a variable-geometry wing; the specialized EF-111 Raven version served in electronic warfare. The movable segments of the exhaust nozzle change the cross-section with the engine setting, and rendering them faithfully markedly raises the realism of the rear end of the model.
Separate the parts carefully from the print supports, wash and degrease them and bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). A base coat is recommended, followed by shading of the metallic and burnt tones with an airbrush, washes and pigments.
The set is an aftermarket resin accessory, not an aircraft kit. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
