This is a 3D-printed (resin) detail set of the open exhaust nozzle for the F-16 Fighting Falcon fighter powered by the General Electric F110-GE-129 engine, in 1:48 scale from Reskit. It is not a kit and not an airplane model but a faithful replacement part of the nozzle in the open position. Reskit issues this nozzle in versions for particular F-16 plastic kits (Tamiya and Kinetic, for example).
The part faithfully captures the inner and outer shape of the nozzle of the F110 engine — the petals, the rings and the fine surface details that injection-molded plastic usually cannot give. The General Electric F110 engine has a different nozzle from the Pratt & Whitney F100, which is why the sets differ with the particular powerplant.
Wash the parts free of print resin residue, cut off the print supports and clean up the surfaces; protect your airways when sanding resin. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Apply a primer before painting; lay the metallic shades and the heat tints down with an airbrush in thin coats.
This is a detail accessory, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
