An injection-molded plastic kit of this single-engine multirole fighter from the maker Kinetic. The box is built around a Turkish machine as it appeared at the 2007 gathering of the so-called tiger squadrons, that is in a temporary paint scheme that is the exact opposite of the usual gray low-visibility camouflage.
Turkey is one of the largest European operators of this type and has been building the aircraft under license at home since the end of the 1980s. The single-seat C version brought more capable avionics than the original machines, a wider range of external weapons and the ability to engage ground targets with precision munitions. The tiger squadron gatherings are an annual treat for aviation enthusiasts precisely because of the exceptional finishes, which last only a few months and then disappear under the usual gray.
