The F-20 Tigershark is an American single-seat light fighter that came about as a development of the proven F-5 line. Unlike its predecessor it received a single more powerful engine and more modern equipment. The machine was offered for export, but it never reached series production and only a small number of flying prototypes were built. That is exactly why it is a model you will not easily meet twice in a display case.
The model in 1:48 scale is supplied as a set of parts to be assembled and painted. The parts count, the contents of the decal sheet and the choice of color versions are given in the instructions enclosed in the box. The aircraft is small, so even in this scale it comes out modest in size and will fit into a crowded display case.
The kit will please collectors of less common types and anyone who likes the family derived from the F-5. The build is reasonable in extent and even a less experienced modeler who has already finished one aircraft kit will manage it.
The kit is supplied in its original packaging. Paints, glue and other supplies for the build are not included in the price, unless stated otherwise.
