Big Sin from the Czech maker Eduard is a package that brings several premium detail sets together under one box. It is not a kit but a complete set of accessories for a plastic model of the carrier version of the F-35C Lightning II in 1:48 scale. It usually combines resin parts with etched metal and colored items, so that the modeler gets the fullest detail from one box.
The F-35C Lightning II is the carrier variant of the fifth-generation stealth fighter intended for operation from aircraft carriers. It differs from the land-based version in its larger folding wings, a sturdier landing gear and an arrestor hook for landing on the deck. It serves with the US Navy as a multirole combat aircraft.
First wash the mold release residue off the resin parts, cut off the casting blocks with a saw or a cutter and sand with respiratory protection. Bond both resin and etched metal with super glue (cyanoacrylate). Before assembly, check the fit with the plastic parts, and fit the colored items only once the surface beneath is prepared.
This is a set of accessories, not an airplane model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
