F-35C Lightning II cockpit 1:48, detailed version from Reskit: a printed resin set for the Tamiya kit. An accessory for a model, not a kit of the aircraft.
Responsibility details are not available.
The cockpit of a modern combat aircraft is full of surfaces that injection-molded plastic simplifies: the large-area display, the side panels, the ejection seat handles and the cockpit tub. Reskit makes them by 3D printing in resin, where the edges are crisper and the detail deeper. This set is in the detailed version and is intended for the F-35C kit from Tamiya in 1:48 scale. It is not a kit of the aircraft but a replacement part for a model you have already bought.
The F-35C is the carrier version of the Lightning II, intended for operation from aircraft carriers. It differs from the land-based version in its larger wing area with folding tips, a stronger landing gear and an arrestor hook. The cockpit is controlled by a single large touchscreen supplemented by a helmet-mounted sight, so the classic instruments on the panel are absent. That very look makes a fifth-generation cockpit a strikingly different sight from that of older machines.
Cut the parts off the supports with a sharp scalpel or a saw and level the surfaces with a fine file, doing the sanding with your airways protected. They are glued with cyanoacrylate. Before painting, try dry how the set sits in the fuselage, because resin tubs tend to be a tight fit. The detail comes out if, after the base coat, you let a dark wash flow into the recesses and pick the edges out with a drybrush.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
