This is not a kit or a model, but a comprehensive set of self-adhesive masking templates (kabuki masks) from Omask in 1:48 scale. An O-max set is an expanded masking set — besides masks for the cockpit glazing, it usually also includes masks for the wheels and plugs for the landing gear bays. The set is intended for the plastic kit of the American jet fighter F-86F Sabre from Hasegawa and makes clean, sharp paint transitions easier, without tedious tape application.

Use

• Carefully lift the masks off the backing and apply them precisely to the glazing, wheels and bay openings
• Press down the edges so paint does not seep underneath
• Spray with an airbrush in thin coats — first the frame color, then the final camouflage
• Once dry, carefully remove the masks to reveal clean, clear areas
