Responsibility details are not available.
A detailed 3D-printed resin set of the pilot's cockpit for the Fairey Barracuda in 1:48 scale from the Quinta Studio brand. It contains the instrument panel, the side consoles, the controls and other fittings of the pilot's space and replaces the original parts of the Trumpeter kit. It is not a stand-alone model but a detailed installation which raises the fidelity of the interior markedly.
The Fairey Barracuda was a British carrier-borne torpedo and dive bomber of the Fleet Air Arm of the Second World War period. It was the first British all-metal high-wing monoplane of its kind, and it replaced older biplanes. Among other things it was used in the attacks on the German battleship Tirpitz.
Wash the mold release agent off the resin parts, separate them carefully from the carrier frames and wear respiratory protection while sanding. Bond with super glue (cyanoacrylate). The fine 3D print will stand out once painted and the detail is picked out with a wash and with drybrushing. Check the fit against the Trumpeter kit before gluing.
This is an add-on resin set, not a stand-alone model. The kit, glue and paints are not included in the package.
