An injection-molded plastic kit of the Soviet light pickup truck GAZ-M-415 in 1:48 scale from the Ukrainian manufacturer ACE. It is a smaller model of a civil and military vehicle whose package contains, besides the plastic parts, a photo-etched fret, rubber parts and decals, the exact contents following the manufacturer's catalog. The model suits a collection of rear-area hardware as well as an addition to airfield and artillery scenes.
The GAZ-M-415 was a Soviet light cargo pickup derived from the GAZ M-1 passenger car, nicknamed Emka. It was built at the end of the 1930s and the beginning of the 1940s. The vehicle served to carry cargo and people, as a light rear-area and airfield car and as a tractor for light weapons. It was a typical utility vehicle of the Red Army and of the civil sector at the beginning of the Second World War.
Use liquid cement for plastic and glue the photo-etched parts with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). Apply a primer before painting and lay the paints on with an airbrush. On rear-area vehicles a combination of the factory color with heavier dusting and mud on the chassis using pigments stands out. The rubber tire parts give the wheels a realistic look and it pays to weather them discreetly.
The model is supplied unassembled and unpainted. Glue, paints and accessories are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
