A resin detail set from the Czech manufacturer CMK refines the armament of a model of the German Henschel Hs 129B ground-attack aircraft. It adds finely cast barrels and weapon parts which injection-molded plastic simplifies. This is not a model of an aircraft but an accessory for the Hs 129B kit in 1:48 scale.
The Henschel Hs 129 was a single-seat twin-engined armored ground-attack aircraft of the Luftwaffe intended for combat against ground targets and tanks. Besides the fixed machine guns and cannon in the nose it also carried underslung weapons, depending on the sub-version: from twin cannon pods to heavy anti-tank barrels. It was committed to action mainly on the eastern front.
Wash the mold release agent off the parts, cut them away from the casting blocks and clean them up. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The thin barrels are brittle, so cut them off carefully. A metallic cast is created with a dark steel color and light polishing. Protect your airways when sanding resin.
The set is an accessory for that model, not a kit in its own right. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
