The Reskit 1:48 resin exhaust nozzle for the IAI Kfir — a 3D printed detail accessory for a faithful tail end on the Israeli fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This is a resin, 3D printed detail set from the Ukrainian brand Reskit, not an airplane kit. The set replaces the simplified plastic nozzle with an exact casting with finely rendered petals and the internal structure of the combustion chamber. It is intended for more experienced modelers, to upgrade a kit of the IAI Kfir fighter in 1:48 scale.
The IAI Kfir is an Israeli multirole fighter derived from the French Mirage 5, fitted with a General Electric J79 engine and Israeli avionics. The circular engine nozzle with its characteristic petals is a prominent recognition feature of the rear fuselage, and it has a marked effect on the final impression a model makes.
Carefully separate the parts from the casting blocks, clean them up and wash them clean of any mold release agent. Glue with cyanoacrylate glue (super glue). The metal surfaces of the nozzle come out well in metallic shades (steel, burnt metal) with a fine wash to bring out the layers baked on by the heat.
The accessory is supplied unassembled and unpainted. The base model, glue and paints are not included in the package, unless stated otherwise.
