CMK 1:48 J2M3 Raiden (Jack), a control surfaces set is a resin detail accessory that replaces the rudders and the movable surfaces of a model of the Japanese fighter.
Responsibility details are not available.
This resin detail set in 1:48 scale from the Czech maker CMK brings faithfully rendered control surfaces for a model of the Japanese Mitsubishi J2M3 Raiden fighter. It is not an aircraft kit but an accessory for advanced modelers. The cast rudders and flaps with their fine skin structure can also be fitted in a deflected position, which brings a model to life.
The Mitsubishi J2M Raiden (Allied designation Jack) was a Japanese naval interceptor of the Second World War, powered by a strong radial engine and built as a fast-climbing interceptor. Deflected control surfaces are a typical feature of a parked machine.
Wash the parts free of mold release agent, cut the casting blocks off and glue with super glue. Cut the original plastic surfaces away following the instructions and sand the resin replacements back for a clean join. The skin structure comes out after spraying and a fine wash.
The set is supplied unassembled and unpainted as a resin accessory. Glue, paints and the base model are not included in the package.
